Busy Doctor Kunaal, Implemented The Perfect Structure, Strategy and System And Built An Incredible Physique

Kunaal had dedicated all of his time and energies into his medical practice. So much so that he completely let his health and fitness levels drop.

He was aware that he was struggling but just didn’t have the energy or the motivation to make a change until he came across RNT.

What were the series of moments that led to your “trigger” moment to begin your journey with RNT?

It wasn’t just a single spark that led to my change or transformation. I feel this has built over time. From aspiring towards looking fit and strong, to looking in the mirror and remembering a particular photo of mine. All of these events led towards starting on this transformation journey.

I remember looking back at my photos and seeing how far I had slipped down. Combined with some passing comments from family and friends about my weight gain just didn’t feel right for me.

What were your biggest problems before starting RNT?

I have always wanted to transform my health and fitness levels. However, I was poor at actioning this due to lack of the 3Ss in my life. I feel in hindsight that this was my biggest challenge.

My why behind my why.

While battling through the pandemic as a frontline doctor I realised the value in being fit and healthy.

I was coming back home exhausted, with little time to myself or my family.

Quite frankly I didn’t like the person I was seeing in the mirror.

Furthermore, my wife and I planned to start a family together; these combined events shaped me to want to be in the best shape of my life, for life. I want to be a good role model for my family and friends.

Deep down, I want a body like Cristiano Ronaldo’s (who wouldn’t), however it’s his mindset that I value the most.

My biggest problem before RNT:

It’s the 3Ss that was lacking in my life. I realise that this is not just about looking better, but a better and healthier mindset: this is what will help me thrive in all areas of my life.

I had honestly let structure slip off the priority list. I had given medicine a priority. Tough exams, tough shifts. I was uncomfortable with my way of life. I was coming home, irate, fatigued, wanting a quick meal, contradicting the good advice I would normally give my patients.

What has the process been like, and the biggest challenges and obstacles?

I feel that the process has been a huge learning experience for me. I thought that I had good knowledge having a degree in medicine.

However, I have learnt so much more here that has made me realise how little I actually knew.

The process has been life changing and what I have learnt will benefit me for the rest of my life.

Habit takes time to form, and adapting was the initial obstacle. The biggest challenge was having different meals to the rest of my family and friends. We were used to ordering takeaways at least 3 or 4 times a week.

Although this was difficult initially, trusting the process lead to some highly effective habits!

What has kept me going is knowing that staying in shape is important to me.

Staying lean but being and looking strong is critical to me.

The feeling I get when someone tells me I have been a role model is why this is important. I hope that as part of this journey I can continue to influence others.

How has the physical been the vehicle?

I feel this journey has brought me incredible results. I have ‘wow-ed’ myself and close ones alike! It has been a good talking point, with many seeking advice on how they can better themselves.

This journey has definitely made me step out of the ‘red zone’ that I was in with the multiple events that led me to consider my transformation journey.

For me, this is just the beginning. I think the biggest positive is that this journey has given me the 3Ss in life and better time management and prioritisation skills.

What almost kept me from joining?

I think there are multiple factors here. The first being a fear of commitment and fear of not getting the right support to transform and the lack of time in life in general. I initially didn’t have the right attitude and I guess I didn’t want it badly enough.
